Awesome mind-expanding, trippy, kids sci-fi fest
One of those books that you plucked from the bookshelf in your classroom on a rainy afternoon when something like games was cancelled or when you were bunking off something else, and then read solidly for 3 hours.
Basically a wierd shower of beautiful interlocking things rains down that are actually aliens from outer space that can be trained to make shapes, words and other fanciful stuff.
I could only find the audio book on Amazon, which may mean it's out of print, which is a dire shame if current generations are denied the pleasure of reading this. Still, they're probably too busy reading books about crack houses instead . . .
