Britains political landscape turns into a pantomime
I found Monbiot managed to capture the human aspects of many of the characters and lives that he followed in the process of writing this book. The inevitability and predictability of the villains become easier to spot as the pantomime that is British politics is played out. It's real 'boo', 'hiss' stuff, and at times you want to shout out, 'he's behind you.' Even your granny will protest if she reads it. Buy her one!
