ever wondered how to ….. keep your cattletroughs clear? *
Based on the BBC2 snippets of the same name, I'll leave it to the text to do the talking:

- No shaving foam? Use peanut butter if you don’t have anything else. Or you could smear on some olive oil.

- Use Epsom salts to kill weeds.

- When you wash young children’s hair, draw a line of petroleum jelly above their eyes; it will stop the shampoo running down into their eyes and stinging them.

- To chill wine, beer or champagne quickly; add 4-6 tablespoons of salt to the ice and water in the ice bucket. The bottles should chill in about 20 minutes.

- To help a mouse lose weight, cut out oily seeds (e.g. sunflower seeds or peanuts) and fatty treats (cheese!). Give it soaked stale bread or plain boiled wholegrain rice with fruit and vegetables.

- To relieve stress, try alternate nostril breathing.

- Sticky label marks can be stubborn to remove from glass. Try using a little peanut butter rubbed in on some soft cotton wool.

One for the eternal child in us all, and the adult who enjoys diy, and not just the B&Q variety.
